Callbacks: Sunday evening, Apr 13 (by invitation only). May not be necessary for every role. Receiving a callback does not guarantee a part in the show; not receiving a callback does not mean you didn’t receive a part either.

Dramatic / Speaking Audition

At the audition, you will need to select and perform a monologue provided for the audition. You may identify which character(s) you are auditioning for. The Character Description Sheet gives details for each role. We have also included the Character Sides if you would like to practice ahead of time. You do not have to memorize the lines. If you choose not to practice ahead of time, monologues will be provided at the audition to practice.

Movement / Dance Audition

Will be only for select auditioners and will be a part of the callback process.

Vocal Audition

Everyone will need to prepare 16 - 32 bars of any song to sing. This could be a musical theater piece in the style of the show. We are looking for stage presence, vocal tone, emotion, and range. We will not provide music accompaniment but you may bring your own track to play on your phone. While it is not required, it would be beneficial to memorize the piece.

Video Audition

Can’t make either of these dates, but still want to participate? Submit a video audition using the Audition Structure by Friday, Apr 11 to info@loveyourcitytheater.com.
