In this open level course, you will explore techniques in stage combat with found weapons, what makes a found weapon safe, and develop a small phrase of choreography. This is an excellent opportunity to explore introductory skills or looking to build on and refine your skillsets with different styles. Please bring water and clothing that you can move in. Adapted from Disney's beloved animated film and the works of Rudyard Kipling, the “man cub” Mowgli, bounds through the jungle and learns what it means to be human. Company: Starbright Youth Theatre Directed by Mackenzie Marshall Assistant Directed by Kailey Rice & Jeff Neyman Produced by Starbright Center for the Arts Performed on The Garage Door Theater Stage Performance Dates June 12, 13 at 6:00 PM June 13, 14 at 2:30 PM This is a Starbright Youth Theatre production. Its structure is a one week intensive Summer Camp for ages 5 - 12. The camp will run June 8 - 12, Monday - Friday at 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM. Auditions & Registration Students must register to audition for the show. The cost to participate is $275. All registered students will be cast in the show. Auditions will take place on the first day of camp, June 8. When signing up for multiple summer camps, a 25% discount is applied to each additional camp. Full price for the first camp and 25% off each additional camp of equal or lesser value. Explore creativity through hands-on artistic expression in a welcoming and inspiring environment. Participants will experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques while developing skills in dance, art, singing, acting and stage combat. These workshops encourages imagination, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. Workshops are offered on July 9, 10, 16, 17, 23 and 24, 2026. Callback auditions will be held in person on the first day of camp - July 13.
