S.T.O.R.I.E.S. the musical

Industry Gal

S.T.O.R.I.E.S. the musical is the journey of 9 different people from all walks of life through the eyes of their therapist. We see how mental health, social norms, trauma, and relationships all influence an individual and their community.

* Show contains partial nudity, violence, themes of sexual assault and alcoholism.

This project is an original cast recording that will cultivate in a full staged production in the fall of 2025.

  • Please submit a video of 2 contrasting pieces, 16-32 bars each. One song musical theatre, one song pop/contemporary.
  • If submitting for Therapist; please show one dramatic monologue no more than 2 minutes in length.
  • Please also submit 60 seconds telling us why mental health advocacy/education is important to you.
  • Video links along with a head shot and resume can be sent to msabigailarts@gmail.com
Stipends
  • Initial cast recording is unpaid.
  • Stipends will be available for fall production, dependent on our total grant funding.
  • Tentatively $100 - 300 per performer.

Recording

Recording runs February - April, 2025.
Cultivating in a public album release and full cast announcement in May 2025

Trapped in a life he never wanted due to his own mistakes and low self worth, he falls in love with Dearheart for her passion and spirit, must choose between the life he’s always wanted or the safety of the one he already has. Married with a wife and kids. Strong actor who sings. This role includes brief stage combat.

About Us

Industry Gal - founded and run by Grayson Micaela - is launching it's first full main stage project in 2025 with S.T.O.R.I.E.S. Based in DFW with plans to expand, Industry Gal focuses on bringing life to art from women's voices, and other underprivileged demographics with an added emphasis on mental health advocacy within the fine arts industry.
