Elf The Musical Jr. is a holiday comedy following Buddy, a human raised as an elf at the North Pole, who travels to New York City to find his birth father, spreading Christmas cheer and transforming his cynical new family along the way.

Age & Participation Information
- This is a Starbright Youth Theatre production. Its structure is a two week intensive Summer Camp for ages 5 - 18
- The camp will run July 13 - 17, 20 - 24, Monday - Friday at 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- All participants must register for the show and then submit a video audition before Monday, January 6
- All registered students will be cast in the show.
Audition Information
- Video auditions due by Monday, July 6
- For the video audition, students should prepare and include a one minute cut of a song and a one minute monologue
- The song and monologue can be recorded as two separate videos, but please do not edit / cut the videos
- Please email video auditions to starbrightmpa@gmail.com with the subject line "ELF AUDITION [STUDENT NAME]"
- Quick Video Tips: We recommend uploading the videos to YouTube or Google Drive to allow you to share the video easily. You do not need to make your video public — just choose “Unlisted” on YouTube or “Anyone with the link can view” on Drive
- If you film multiple clips, you may upload them as separate links or one combined video — either is fine!
Callback auditions will be held in person on the first day of camp - July 13. Materials (practice lines and songs from the show) will be provided by email before the start of camp so students can prepare.
All registered students will be cast in the show.
